New Year at Temple Sowerby House is a genuinely relaxing experience. It really is all about enjoying good food, the odd (!) bottle of wine, proper blazing log fires and having a jolly, relaxing time with other like-minded guests. Not to mention Champagne and fireworks but, we promise, no organised games and loud music.

If you could be tempted by a leisurely time away from the hustle and bustle, then the beauty of the English lakes and the rugged, wild landscapes of the Pennines are the most obvious natural attractions to be enjoyed within just a short drive from TSH. We can suggest lots of things for you to enjoy too, including local walks and excursions.

The New Year Celebrations include:

• 3 nights room and full breakfast
• Afternoon Tea by the fire on New Years Eve and New Years Day
• New Years Eve Champagne Cocktail Reception followed by a specially created 7-course dinner with fine wines
• followed by Champagne and fireworks at Midnight
• 3-course a la carte Dinner on Wednesday and Friday evenings
