Channings has recently renovated their 3rd floor, creating five luxury suites. Hugely spacious and each individually designed, the rooms now boast the largest bathrooms in the city. The new suites also feature large ink sketches depicting famous scenes from the life of the Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. Both Shackleton and his wife Emily resided at number 14 South Learmonth Gardens - the town house which is now occupied by The Kingsleigh and The Library meeting rooms of Channings - from April 1904 to July 1910.
